... Don't act like you wouldn't get in the car, nobody says "no" to someone wearing an outfit like that (I'll have to discuss the powerfulness of cutout garments in another post)~

Anyway, I haven't gone on a shopping spree with intent to purchase in a long time, so yesterday was extremely fun for me! I bought a lot of stuff but I'm most excited about my newly acquired formal wear! Now I just need somewhere to wear it... here's a preview pic:

I love it! It fits perfect and I think it's about time I added some orange into my wardrobe. Best part is that it was 90% off so it hasn't affected my savings for the other dress I'm planning to get... one day. I've been lusting after this for two years but as I'm also conserving $$$ for traveling expenses I haven't ventured to buy it yet... *tear*

I also got an eye exam yesterday and that wasn't fun at all. I hate having to endure that freaking thing that blows air in your eye. They kept messing up and telling me they needed to do it again! Then there's the constant taking out and putting in contacts! I'm suffering side effects I tell ya!

Whatever right?! I'll just join the Volturi then~

I hate to be annyoing but...

.
I'm posting again in less that 24 hrs of the last one... but then again, it's my site (ha!). I thought I'd put up some pics from last week before I get too caught up in my schedule this week and forget to do it. Not that I think anyone is really dying to see them or anything, but since I went out of my way to take extra photos for the blog, I'll post them regardless. Some aren't pretty, brace yourself!

The first day

Last week, waiting around before doing my hair (that's why it's a mess). The photographer told me to look pleasant and he'd snap a photo for me (for the blog) while things were getting set up. Hahaha, ohhh do I look pleasant?!


The next day was the day it was decided we'd be doin' some outdoor photos. We went to scout locations and as a suggestion, I snapped a few shots in the sun as practice for the following day. I could only look into the camera for less than a second before shutting my eyes. Here's the result:








No working out so well. The location was chosen, and the time was set for 5:40 AM the following morning as the afternoon sun seemed too horrifically hot and irritating.





The next morning






Was not as horrible as I thought it'd be. By the way, I don't wanna hear any crap about how I wore the same outfit as I did a few months ago! The focus was headshots and I was just suppose to wear something comfortable.














There was still a little difficulty. For example, in the photo above, I couldn't keep my left eye completely open because a freaking sun beam was gleaming off it (even through the shield I had made with my hair!).









^ and facing away from the bright rays only brought out unflattering shadows. Ugh... but I still like this photo for some reason :b











I eventually got past it.

I was trying to wink at the camera, only to realize that I was a floating head. I've always positioned my desk in front of a window for the light and it's never been like that. Maybe I'm already dead and haven't realized it yet?! :O

Summer Sun

Tomorrow is all about one of many photoshoots that'll take place in the horrible July sun. To prepare, I thought I'd start slow. Maybe open the blinds in my room and snap a photo:


















That's as far as the ordeal went until I scampered back into the dark where I belong. Tomorrow is a day I've been dreading for an entire month. I have no idea how I'm going to keep from sweating off all my makeup before the nightmare is done. Speaking of nightmares, lets talk about earlier this morning.

This is going to sound insane but whatever. So I was ready for bed around 3AM. I was waiting to fall asleep and then... the worst feeling washes over me (one I haven't felt since I was a child). The feeling of being watched, waited for. What makes it so scary? I never felt it without it proving to be true. And here's the super crazy part~~ I was absolutely sure, CERTAIN, someone was on the sidewalk staring up at my bedroom, waiting for me to look out the window. Some psycho with a sinister smile stretched across his/her evil face. Now, I don't mean that I think this person could see through walls, just that they know I'm in here and they're hoping their presence will bait me into going to the to the window... because they're crazy~ Not me!

I know ya'll aren't going to get it. Everyone I used to mention this to when I was little thought I was just being a horrible child trying to scare my brother. Last night I debated whether to look outside for about 5 minutes, in which time the feeling disappeared. I knew they were gone and got up to look out.

But they had been there! I know it! *gets hauled off to the institution* I may never know, I really think that the consequence of seeing the person is death, or like a battle to the death. Hey! HEY! I see you judging me right now! How dare you!

Ok, on another note, I've made excellent progress with my plan to get the hell out of here. Much to my surprise, everyone was on board with the idea almost immediately. Even with the parts I thought were gonna blow the deal.
