It's been a difficult time these last few weeks. My PC died and it was feared that everything on it had been destroyed and would never be recovered, the air conditioner also died and it's been unbearably hot, our five year old car is dead and possibly irreparable, and I'll probably have to reschedule my wisdom teeth extractions for another month while we deal with the other stuff (the pain!). Anyhow, those things aside, life hasn't been so horrible~ I mean my PC still struggles to work but my stuff didn't actually get destroyed (yet).. and without the AC I've started walking to the river every afternoon which is awesome!.. and I've figured out that we can walk to almost anywhere we need around this neighborhood and it's safe to do so until the car gets working (or replaced -.-)!

2011 Misery post + lots of unimpressive photos~

I call it the misery post because we've all been sick the last few weeks and look miserable in all the photos. So that is what's going on here... Anyway, I tried to smear on some makeup and pull myself together for a couple new pics:

Ok, so for a couple of days I avoided school and just stayed home taking care of my nephew, the first of us to come down with a cold:










T_T ..He was actually not that put off with being sickly, but he was furious that he didn't get to go to preschool. We got along pretty well since we can both watch cartoons with the same enthusiasm. During the time we spent together I discovered that we both enjoy Phineas & Ferb and Garfield ♥







A few days later he was back to his normal self:













I, however, started a new class at the height of my fever and had no choice but to go:






... no, I'm not trying to strike a ridiculous pose here, I was trying to get my sweaty hair off my sweaty neck. It was so hot that day and it was a mistake to try to get photos! I dunno what I was thinking! XD

Speaking of none impressive photos I've taken reminds me of some I took a while back and didn't post because of the same looking miserable issue. It was because of my good for nothing wisdom teeth on that occasion. I guess I'll put them up since I spent the time resizing them and all (resizing them for my blog when it was 500px max so they're super small compared to some of the new pics). Now that it's awkward again..

We're almost halfway through the year and I've done 4 posts... and the more time that passes between my online activities the more awkward it seems to start up again. I feel I need an icebreaker post before getting into everything I want to catch y'all up on or the neato comeback post I'm making.. So yesterday I thought why not just do one of my usual topics I post after doing lyrics? A photo blog with makeup inspired by the MV! Here goes~

About the comeback post I said I'd have up last week on twitter~

I was planning to include an ultra dramatic photoshoot which I actually got a modelesque friend of mine to agree to participate in! But then the tornadoes ruined our shoot several days in a row and now my friend is gone for summer and he won't be back until August... *sigh* so we'll see how it goes then -.- So lame right?!

*phone rings*

Me: Hello?

Him: Hey, so we're not gonna do this today right?

Me: No... the clouds are circling outside my window right now so it's probably not such a great idea... o_o

Him: Ok, well.. I guess I'll see you in a couple of months..

Me: K, have fun!.. And stay in an interior room for now... underneath a workbench or whatever

Him: Haha, is that all?

Me: ... no... if you're in a car then get out and go lay in a ditch... although that sounds like a horrible idea.

Him: Is that what you'll be doing?

Me: I'm from Texas, I'll be outside staring at the clouds swirl until I've been brainwashed into insanity @.@

(By the way, I didn't mean to leave everyone hanging with the last entry. We ended up having to haul someone to the hospital and then Summer school started the following day.)
