So I imagine you're wondering why I find these pics of 2PM playing at the pool to be so interesting. Well it's not because I'm a perv like you're thinking!! It's because they are staying at one of my most favorite hotels of all time! ^_^ Dusit Thani Pattaya resort!~

Well, seeing these pics also reminded me of the promise I made to post pics from my last trip... which I never did... -_- sorry.. But today I decided to post 'em. Keep in mind I, as usual, didn't take any photos of myself, or friends... haha I pretty much always just take photos of the hotel/beach~

I have tons of photos but still I'm just too lazy to resize them and such so I'll be showing just a few~ Let's get started with pics of..

The Dusit Thani! ( ... yay!)

Photobucket
Lobby! See those menus on the table?! You can order like the most delicious teas/coffee drinks of all time and have them served to you while you loaf on the couch! They also have a counter where you can buy little pastries and cakes. Like fancy gourmet ones that are all beautiful and decorated... Wish I took some pics of them.. they were so pretty/delicious/fattening and I ate them almost every morning while there! In the afternoon sometimes too~ ^_^

Photobucket
Lobby view in opposite direction towards atrium. (Click here for larger image!)
This atrium was massively impressive~ There's little bridges and a pond/stream/waterfall down there.. The spa is also located on the atrium level. (sorry about the pink smiley face, was protecting my friend's identity XD lol)

Photobucket
Sea view from our balcony.. also notice the pool 2PM splashed around in. (click here for larger image)
Photobucket
I love how the pool area overlooks the sea... This hotel has another pool in a different area also.. (click here for larger pic)
Photobucket
There's also a pond with a waterfall in this section of the hotel..

Photobucket
.... the pond is green.... :x (lol)
Photobucket
See that tall building on the left? It doesn't look like this pic in real life. It seemed totally creepy and looming everytime I saw it.. It's sooo tall... And people live there... their balconies look ultra scary XD It was especially disturbing when it was foggy in the morning... like a massive, haunted luxury apartment complex! Ahh!
Photobucket
View towards another hotel wing... it's easy to get lost if you're not careful here! :b (click here for larger image)
Photobucket
This was one of my favorite areas, it's like a tiny island. I think the hotel serves a buffet here on the weekends. I didn't go to it because... it's a buffet lol.. and it was like $100USD to eat at it! D:

Hey let's head out to the beach for a sec~
Photobucket
The sun's blinding isn't it? *_* That's why we usually don't go out until nearing sunset haha
Photobucket
That's better... Oh my, I just noticed these pictures don't have people in them~ which is weird because the beach is covered with people most the time. I think more toward the city center it's probably packed! :O Let's go check it out..
Photobucket
See! A little farther down there's tourists! :D Hmm what are those people over there doing? We should take a closer look at this pic...
Photobucket
Hehehe cute to the max! They made hilariously cute poses all over the place... cute huh? ^_~
Photobucket
a lot of people were taking photos of this! Ok back to the hotel then..
Photobucket
Btw see this hotel right here? I tried to make reservations there before I did at the Dusit. They wasted our time for half an hour making our reservation and then finally just told us nothing was available.. how irritating! It was for the best though, the Dusit is actually located on the beach and that other one you'd have to cross the street in mad traffic at all hours -_- Anyways, back to the Dusit!
Photobucket
Lol the water receded so far we could save time just walking a direct path..
Photobucket
Btw, see the umbrellas under this railing? The hotel has it's own section of the beach for you to use if you don't wanna venture out to be harassed by a never-ending parade of vendors on the public beach XD

Ok that's it for Dusit Thani resort photos. On to the next set! Oh wait, first I have something very important to get through to all of you. It's about the Chinese restaurant on the top floor in the hotel. I had the best dessert I've ever eaten in that place (the best!). I think it was called snow dumplings or something. It was bananas with red bean paste and honey deep fried in a sort of pastry crust dumpling and then sprinkled with powdered sugar. I ordered them thinking they might be disgusting but they were excellent. Lol It took a long time for them to make it because the waitress said it was the chef's first time making it. Does that mean I was the only person to ever order it? Or they had a new/different chef?

Anyway he was wayyy happy because I went back to that restaurant 2 times just to eat them again. Apparently he was totally complemented by the fact I thought they were awesome. I'm absolutely serious that it was the best dessert I've ever eaten!!! Go try it! Try all the hotel's other restaurants too while you're at it k^_^

Now for pics of the Hard Rock Hotel (also in Thailand)!
Photobucket
While the Hard Rock Hotel is not a 5 star resort like the Dusit, it's still extremely awesome. Some of the people I was traveling with liked it better actually because of the fun atmosphere.
Photobucket
So colorful 'n pretty right? ^^
Photobucket
much like the Dusit, I think the pool area was one of the best features~
Photobucket
It's huge!
Photobucket
Hard Rock Cafe and live music area!
We ate there~ at the outside patio area facing the beach of course~
Photobucket
And watched the sunset too!
Photobucket
This makes me really miss it there. aww ;.;
Photobucket
Check out our room!
Photobucket
Something I've noticed from everytime I've ever taken a pic of my hotel room... I always have my purse, a hello kitty hat, and the room service menu on my bed at all times~ Woe is me... I just realized I do that everywhere I go.. lol
Photobucket
View from window! ^_^ Look at the boats way off in the distance.
Photobucket
Balcony view~
Photobucket
Check it out. The building next door has a lawn/garden on the roof! :b
Photobucket
The hot pink sun~~ Ok, for those of you that don't know. The setting sun in this area is the most shockingly stunning shade of hot pink.. It's really beautiful and I always try to get a picture of it... and it always turns out like this. But in real life it looks much more breathtaking!

Ok that's it for Hard Rock Hotel pics.. next is just randoms from other places I've stayed/visited~
Photobucket
This is from way back in 2006.. from a hotel balcony
Photobucket
random mall pic...
Photobucket
View from living room of my old apartment in undisclosed location, Thailand! (click here for larger pic)
Photobucket
Pattaya again... The infamous Walking Street~
Photobucket
Another random beach photo... what? XD
Photobucket
View from friend's place in Bangkok~

"Drink Don't Drive" -building

Hey you know.... let's go to China for a bit... *Sorry these next pics are so crappy. I kept forgetting my camera so all I had was my lame phone to take pics with.. u_u
Photobucket
Tadaa~ Grand Hyatt Jin Mao tower FTW! Most awesome hotel ever? Possibly~
Photobucket
everyone that sees these photos say it reminds them of Star Wars lol. Just a bit about this hotel... The Grand Hyatt Jin Mao tower is a hotel located on the top floors of Jin Mao tower (which used to be the tallest building in the world 1999). Anyway it's rooms have panaramic views of Shanghai (srry forgot to get pics this time). What's interesting here is that I didn't take this photo while in the hotel. I took it after my friends showed up and we went to the observation level. You see the top floor observatory is located right above the Grand Hyatt and has a huge glass dome where you can view into the Grand Hyatt! I thought this was the most awesome thing ever! If you're ever staying in this hotel make sure to look up and see all the people staring at you hahahaha! XD
Photobucket
Crappy phone pic of the Oriental Pearl Tower.
Photobucket
Another failed pic haha
Photobucket
Shopping center @ Xin Tian Di.. That place is awesome~

When we were at the Bund I tried to get a pic of the huge screen when it had "Welcome to Shanghai" on it but that didn't turn out at all ;.;

Moving on... well who's bored?!.. Everyone?! Great! That's how a vacation photo extravaganza is suppose to end! ;D

Last pic!
Photobucket
Welcome to the California coast yeah!

And I decided to give links to these hotels since they are so awesome! These are the same websites I made my reservations on because I kinda hate using those various travel sites. Anyway click the links! :b
