Weird places from dreams.

.
Hey there, I was thinking that while my Esquire post is still in production (which will take at least another week), I'd stop by to share something I'm utterly engrossed in. Strange that with this being the busiest week I've seen in a long time, I can find time to load The Sims and slowly but surely recreate these places from my dreams. Places I just can't seem to forget no matter how much time passes. These captures are similar to rough sketches because I haven't added any of the final ornate details yet. I'll probably update with new photos
if I ever get the rooms just right.

On to the screen captures:

The main hall.
~the dream sequence~
I was walking down this hall with my new husband the evening after our wedding. My parents were there too. After a few minutes of talking, they exited through a door on the left and the groom and I went up the stairs located in the opening on the right.

In such a large hall (almost 200' long, 18' wide, & the ceilings are 26 ft. high) you'd expect a grand staircase or something. In this house the stairs seemed almost hidden which I found kind of interesting.

Believe it or not, this 70' x 50' living room is located in a townhome. It's probably one of the most elaborate rooms I have ever seen while being unconscious. So in case you're wondering why the photo above looks so plain, the room is no where near finished at all! It's just an empty shell for the time being. I put a chair in the screen shot to give an idea of the height of the room (24 ').
~the dream sequence~ After moving to our new home in the city, questionable folk from the area try to break in and murder us. Horror ensues.

On that note, I have to be going to study and then maybe work more on the rooms. Did I ever mention that Wednesday is usually my day off? ^-^
