Meet my new friends! They're zombie princesses~

In the box (sorry about the glare). The boxes have a cool tombstone shape but are a bit of a nightmare to open:
This is how it looks once the back is pulled off. At least you know the dolls are packaged extra securely I guess ^^
I did notice that Rapunzel had plastic around her legs and that Sleeping Beauty did not.
Both dolls come with a heart shaped brush and a matching doll stand. The brush has molded stitches. Cute!
Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty is the doll I opened first!
Her eyes are very detailed and captivating... I love her makeup as well (It's looks very similar to a look I wore in a much older post).
One of the reasons I just had to have her is her blue dress. She has a skull adorning it!
Her skirt is tattered looking with scraggly lace peeking out underneath. Love it.
She has silky hair that seems very easy to brush.
Stitching detail on her arms.
Zombie modeling! These dolls don't take bad photos... EVER!
Rapunzel
Rapunzel is dressed in a purple and black dress with gold detailing.
I'm unsure as to how manageable her hair is because I didn't want to take it down, but it looks quite luxurious directly out of the box.
Like Sleeping Beauty, her dress is tattered and actually has some tears in the skirt. Very zombie appropriate!
Her eyes and makeup are stunning and festively creepy. Her mouth stitches remind me of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
All in all, I really have no complaints about these two aside from the struggle of getting them out of their box. One of their best features is how awesomely photogenic they are, which can be seen in the following photographic story:
Zombie Prom
(Featuring Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel)
Once upon a time, Sleeping Beauty dreamt...
..of pleasant things such as floating on a cloud of blue feathers without a care in the world.
Unfortunately, on this day, Zombie Rapunzel was on her way to wake Sleeping Beauty.
"Sleeping beauuuuuty! It's time to go!" Rapunzel called out.
"Go?.. Go where?" asked Sleeping Beauty.
"To set up for prom!" Rapunzel reminded her.
Sleeping Beauty slowly got out of bed and started for the stairs. She let out a prolonged yawn.
"Prom?.. I thought prom was next week," she said.
Rapunzel sighed, "Well, you sort of slept through last week. Today's the day! We've got to get going! We can talk about it on the way!"
"We have to be quick! We only have a couple of hours to decorate an entire ballroom!"
3 hours later...
"This is starting to look pretty nice! It' wasn't as much trouble to decorate as I thought it would be!" Rapunzel mused.
"Yeah it's unbelievable... I think we're pretty much done here! Hey, can you get the lights while I turn on the music?!"
"Whoa!" they both exclaimed in awe.
"Just wait till everyone else arrives! This is magical!"
"I know, it's just like a dream! I wish it were like this always," Sleeping beauty said while closing her eyes and gliding along with the music.
Just as the girls had hoped, everyone loved the decorations and it truly was a perfect evening. Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty danced the night away and as they headed back to their castle, they dreaded taking the seemingly magical decorations down on the following day. It would be a sad occasion indeed...
~Two Days later~
*knock knock knock*
"Sleeping Beauuuty?!" a familiar voice called out.
Sleeping Beauty opened her eyes, "Whawhat?!"
"All of the boxes of decorations from the dance have disappeared!! I think we've been robbed!!!!" Rapunzel said with a gasp.
*yawn*
"No, we have not been robbed," Sleeping Beauty said with a laugh, "I moved the boxes last night because I found somewhere better to keep them until next year."
Standing in Sleeping Beauty's doorway, Rapunzel also gave out a slight laugh as relief washed over her, "Great! Well, sorry for waking you from your nap."
Just as Rapunzel was about to turn and shut the door, she hesitated.
She curiously leaned in the room and flipped on the light switch...
"Aha!!" Rapunzel cried, "Gotcha!"
"..WHAT?!" Sleeping Beauty giggled, "... I'll get the music!"
And they both danced happily ever after, for they could now enjoy the magical feeling of that night whenever they pleased.

I love all of the detail on these dolls. The closeup of Rapunzel's hair makes it look like human hair. Cute story! Adorable post.
